Easter Funday at Birmingham Botanical Gardens

DETAILS: Easter Funday from 11am-3pm. An action-packed day full of Easter fun, including a petting farm with rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks, ducklings. Eggciting trail at Kenilworth Castle
WHEN: March 23 to 30 2013
DETAILS: Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden, 10am-5pm. Suitable for everyone. Crack the clues to complete an egg- citing trail.' Search for the clues around the grounds to be rewarded with a special Easter prize.

Easter egg decorating day, jousting and archery at Ludlow Castle
WHEN: Monday, April 1, 2013
DETAILS: 10am to 4.00 pm. Hidden all around the castle will be hundreds of eggs. Find one and bring it to the Easter tent where it will be swapped for a real egg for you decorate to your own design with glitters, stars, feathers, paints and jewels and then take home. Easter events at Ironbridge Gorge This Easter holiday there’s a whole host of family fun activities taking place across the museums.  more............... DETAILS: Easter at Blists Hill Victorian Town - March 29 to April 1 Blists Hill’s traditional Easter celebrations will include egg dancing, a ‘hunt the chick’ competition, drop-in workshops and if you come wearing an Easter bonnet you could win a prize. A highlight will be the unusual pastime of egg dancing, which will take place opposite the Print Shop. Once blindfolded, the townsfolk will dance across the street without stepping on eggs that are carefully placed along their route. After the demonstration, you are invited to have a go with mini Easter eggs and lollies as rewards for all who complete the course without stepping on an egg. You can also take part in the ‘hunt-the-chick’ competition, following a trail of clues around the recreated Victorian town; join a sing-along in the New Inn Public House and try hands-on workshops as well as watch open-air performances by the Prince Albert Players and Kaleidoscope Theatre. Families should come wearing their best Easter Bonnets, as the Town’s Milliner will be judging the finest creations at 2pm in the Pleasure Gardens; there will be a prize for the winner and every youngster taking part receives a small Easter egg. Ceramic Workshops at Coalport China Museum - April 1 to 5 and April 8 to 12         more............ Join in drop-in ceramic workshops with an Easter theme at Coalport China Museum this Easter holiday. Paint your own design on a ceramic mug or model your own masterpiece from clay. Workshops run from 11am until 1pm and 2pm until 4pm. Activities vary from day to day and carry additional charges. Museum admission charges apply. Tile Decorating at Jackfield Tile Museum - April 1 to 5 and April 8 to 12            more............ At Jackfield Tile Museum let your creativity run wild at fun, drop-in, tile-decorating workshops. In an informal session you’ll learn the tile decorating technique known as ‘tube lining’ or ‘slip-trailing’, and by the end of the experience you’ll have produced a 6 x 6 inch tile featuring your very own design in a range of beautiful colours. The price is from £5.00 per tile plus admission (P&P is extra). Your tile will be fired in the kiln and sent on to you. Workshops run from 10am. It takes up to 90 minutes to decorate your tile so last admission to the workshops is at 3.15pm. Activities vary on a daily basis and additional charges may apply.
